DFI's philosophy essentially revolves around providing 'food for thought' by travelling to places of relevance, listening to people of relevance and then actually doing things with one's hands. And this is done through some exciting and interactive ways!

dtours

dtours are annual global expeditions to buildings, cities, institutions and even fairs on furniture and product design. Itineraries are intensively curated to attain maximum exposure and benefits. insitu workshops for stakeholders are often conducted to broaden perspectives on design.

talks

dtalks are about absorption from specialists of design and related fields, with an affinity for those from newer and upcoming fields. as many as ten people to over a hundred at times share life stories that actually infuse fresh perspectives and, in a way, they 'detox' the budding minds of young designers at DFI.
